A typical workflow in BioMap involves opening/importing the files and then saving the data to the internal database. I don’t understand what you try to achieve and where it fails. File input/export is also explained in detail in the BioMap manual (pdf in the BioMap folder). Please report back with more details and we’ll try to solve the issue.
