Hi,
I was wondering what implementation/method is being used when using background subtraction (during extraction of an m/z image)

Edit: or background CORRECTION for that matter, pun intended.
There are two known methods for background subtraction, visit at computation.llnl.gov/casc/sapphire/background/background.html, there is PDF file is available and at eetimes.com/design/military-aerospace-design/4017685/Background-subtraction-part-1-MATLAB-models, there is a video available to understand easily.
Thanks, I already found the BC implementation in BioMap, described on the ‘usually ignored’ help (PDF) file.
How often do you use “Mean with BC” instead of just “Mean” when extraction a particular m/z?
