Front Page › Forums › BioMap › How do I know, Biomap is activated or installed ?
Hi
I unzipped file and installed in Program files/biomap. When I run biomap.sav ( under IDL 8 virtual machine),it loads and no id or asks nothing, but opens up with Biomap window,(however, some of the things grayed out like import msi, all of things under analysis MRI except T2 mapping. When I looked into the output file,
PBMT_SETUPSTRUCTURES: Home directory (UserDir) set to C:UsersnedAppDataRoaming
PBMT_SETUPSTRUCTURES: Temp directory (TempDir) set to C:UsersnedAppDataLocalTemp
FBMT_CHECKFEATURE: Feature MRI = 0
FBMT_CHECKFEATURE: Feature MSI = 0
FBMT_CHECKFEATURE: Feature WIP = 0
FBMT_CHECKFEATURE: License will never expire
my questions,
1. How do I know whether it is properly installed?
2. whether activated or not?
3. where to get software id?
4. where to put licenserc file?
Please let me know.
Thanks in advance
ned
There might be multiple causes for this, and troubleshooting is complex. But since the license is bound to the MAC address of the network adapter, you may just copy your MAC address (all lower case, no separators) to the activation website and get a key.

Thank you for your reply.
I followed your suggestion in getting licenserc from mac id, I still see everything grayed out, though I got 8 digit numbers for MRI.
I followed every other suggestions posted by you on this forum. all failed on me.
not sure except give up
Thank you
Ned
To enable BioMap functions, you need to have a license file named “licenserc.” with the keys matching to your MAC address. This is generated on the first login. MSI and MRI need different keys, which you need to combine in a single file. There are different links to gernerate these keys, one on this website and one provided by Bruker. We realize that software activation for MRI is far from optimal and requires some steps from the user.
