Front Page › Forums › BioMap › Issue exporting Xcalibur .raw data into BioMAP
Hello,
I’m currently using Firefly for Thermo v2.1.0 to convert .raw files into ANALYZE format for BioMAP. The conversion works fine, and I can see that three files (all having the same name) with the .hdr, .img and .t2m extension are created in the specified folder. However, when I try to open the .img file in BioMAP 3.8.0.4, I get an error message stating “No valid header file found to this image”. I’m not quite sure what the issue could be. There are no extra “dots” in the file names as a similar thread from many years ago suggested. Are there any updated suggestions for this issue?
Best regards.
Please post the .hdr and .t2m files and I’ll have a look.
Markus
Sorry, last attempt at this…. trying a .zip folder [file name=NewImage.zip size=1684273]http://maldi-msi.org/images/fbfiles/files/NewImage.zip[/file] of the three files.
Cheers for the files. They opened just fine on my system with BioMap 3.8.0.4, but when I copied them in a folder with a dot in the name I could reproduce your error. Please try to open the files from a plain location like “C:data” and expect for this to be the solution.

Thanks Markus. Moving the files from the server to the C: drive did solve the problem. Thanks so much. Cheers, Peggy
