Front Page › Forums › BioMap › Loading an .img file to BioMap
I am just starting to use the BioMap software and have a few questions. Yesterday i acquired an image file on the 4700 using the 4000 series imaging software and am now trying to open the .img file in BioMap. I get an error message that says “Error in function BIOMAP_EVENT Expression must be a structure in this context: SCAN.” Since this is all very new to me I may not even be using the right function to try and open the .img file.
Unfortunately noone around here has any experience with the BioMap program so I am trying to learn from the beginning. Is there any where i can find something like a tutorial for beginners to walk me through some of the basic stuff?
Thanks,
Andy
Our first mistake was trying to load a scan instead of importing an msi. (mass spec image) BL
