Front Page › Forums › MMSIT › MMIST – Problem images are not complete
I am Dr. Simone Cristoni wotking at University of Milan. I am writing because I have a problem with the software MMIST
to acquire image using MALDI. The problem is that when the number of acquired points is increased the image is is not complete.
Practicaly, the Voyager-DE STR MALDI continue to analyze the surface since to reach the end but when I
elaborate the image it is incomplete.
Can someone suggest me how to resolv this problem?

I think there is a fairly simple solution to this problem. In the ‘Instrument Settings’ of the ‘Control Panel’ you must disable the ‘Automatic Voltage Shutdown’. This is typically set to 30 minutes and then the voltage is switched off – for this reason the top half of the images remains black.
