Hello,
I am trying to use AnalyzeThis and BioMap with data generated by a Autoflex III MALDI-TOF-MS from Bruker. Creating a virtual Target and data acquisition are working well. The data conversion by AnalyzeThis works without any error when using the Ultraflex options and generates the .img/.hdr/.t2m files. But when importing the IMS file in BioMap and analyze with “Analysis/Plot/Point” there are no peaks but just a straight line at Signal=0. As a consequence the Min and Max are both zero.
Does someone have a clue how to resolve this problem? The exact data structure of a Ultraflex Spectrum could help.
Thanks, Lukas
May be you can get help from this site…

Hello…

No, I am using the FlexImaging Software now.
Hello…
So, testing some configurations on Analyze This software, I did it to work correctly apparently. Probably some bug is causing this problem because it began when Flex-control was updated to 3.3 version.
You can try it: just after press the button “GO” on Analyze This, when all data were loading on software, select AutoFlex instead of Ultraflex, then press “GO”.
I don’t know what is the problem, but here it resolved.
Hi,
It doesn’t work for me, in AnalyzeThis I can only choose between Reflex or Ultraflex. There is no option for Autoflex as mentioned in your previous post. The import of the autoflex data does only work with ultraflex option and not with reflex, as reflex has a different file structure.
I can’t find any option in AnalyzeThis called Autoflex or similar.
Hi,
Sorry, you are right, I should have posted Reflex.
First, you need import ultraflex data with ultraflex box selected, then select Reflex box on Analyze This.
